This is a photoshoot inspired by Alasdair McLellan's series in LOVE Magazine Issue 17, entitled 'The Suburbs'.

I wanted to make these photographs similar in tone to that of a fashion magazine, with a carefully a picked location, specific clothing, hair, makeup and composition. The hair, makeup and clothes have a 60s undertone but still look timelessly chic.

I told my gorgeous friend, who agreed to model for me, to portray the character of a girl who succumbs to ennui; there's an emptiness behind the grandeur and beauty of the clothing and the surroundings.
